About this property

Taking a prime position, this original cottage boasts immense charm and character, being one of the oldest structures in the village of Abersoch. Resting in its own establishment, this retreat is perfect for families, with easy access to excellent facilities and a main beach for a leisurely afternoon. Home to a spacious lounge and a dining area, this gracefully styled retreat boasts a traditional feel, heightened by an inglenook fireplace with its multi-fuel stove. Whether you are relaxing or enjoying an evening meal, this room is a lovely spot to spend some quality time with your loved ones. The kitchen is wonderfully presented, featuring bench seating for up to eight people, should you wish to come together, planning those up and coming adventures with a warm cup of tea. Make the most of the sun room during your downtime, whilst the children play in the additional snug room. Conveniently, two shower rooms are located on the ground floor, with a Jack and Jill bathroom resting upstairs, well-appointed for the five characterful bedrooms. Presenting a handful of different room styles, overlooked by exposed beams, there really is somewhere for everyone to experience a peaceful night’s sleep. After appreciating the interior, why not admire the beautiful garden first hand, benefiting from lovely grounds and its own patio area. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are opportunities for golfers just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there’s a collection of remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore. A family getaway not to be missed.

The harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula. The village, a popular sailing venue, offers three beaches, as well as shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs to explore, plus the towns of Pwllheli and Criccieth are nearby, and within driving distance are the Snowdonia National Park and Anglesey.
