From the minute you walk through the door of this delightful cottage into the spacious sitting room, with its fabulous woodburner nestling in a stone inglenook and brick fireplace, you know that you are going to feel right at home. A patio door opens to the conservatory which offers peace and quiet, an ideal place to sit and unwind, perhaps even finish that book! The farmhouse style kitchen is well-equipped and caters for all your needs and with the good-sized kitchen table is an ideal setting to enjoy a family meal together. Upstairs, there are three comfortable bedrooms, each benefiting from countryside views and serviced by the modern bathroom. There is ample parking to the front of the cottage, a sloped lawned area wraps around one side and to the rear, just off the conservatory is a slightly raised patio seating area with furniture which provides a pleasant and private area to sit and relax and chat over a glass of something chilled or enjoy that early morning cup of coffee. The farmhouse is enclosed by shallow stone walls and fencing, and backs onto the surrounding fields and countryside. The little hamlet of Pentir is just one mile away, a gentle stroll will take you to the village pub if you fancy a night off from the cooking, and there are some wonderful walks with access to numerous unspoilt paths. The cottage is ideally situated for the Lon Las Cycle Path with wonderful routes to follow, the beautiful Ogwen Valley and has all of Snowdonia on its doorstep. Enjoy a day discovering the walled town of Caernarfon with its majestic 13th century castle, from the town perhaps a ride on the Welsh Highland Steam Railway which runs through some stunning scenery, taking you to Porthmadog on the coast. Within a 15 minute drive you will be in Llanberis and the foothills of Snowdonia and from here you can access footpaths to the very summit of Mount Snowdon, or for something a little more relaxing take the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which steadily climbs almost to the doorstep of the stunning Hafod Eryri Visitor Centre or take a walk around Llanberis lake, visit the National Slate Museum or Electric Mountain and Zip World Velocity, the fastest zip line in the world at Bethesda is only six miles away. There is also easy access to some wonderful beaches and the whole of the Llyn Peninsula is just waiting to be explored and the Isle of Anglesey is definitely worth a visit.
