Well-appointed and furnished in a traditional and homely style, this spacious holiday home has some notable features including high ceilings, exposed timbers and purlins, original panelling and wonderful stained glass sash windows in the sitting room and bedrooms. Enhanced by the high ceilings, the sitting room welcomes you in and boasts views of the coast and castle, as well as benefiting from a multi-fuel stove, perfect for those cooler evenings, extending to the dining area, just ideal for a sit down meal in the evening whilst reminiscing and recalling memories from the day’s adventure and activity. A well-equipped kitchen with breakfast table and chairs, two double bedrooms, one boasting a lovely four poster bed and a bathroom completes this comfortable and welcoming cottage. Set next to an historic graveyard, complete with some ancient headstones, guests can relax on a summer’s evening, wining and dining on the raised decked seating area, which enjoys wonderful views of the sea, coast and castle, or sit and enjoy that early morning cup of coffee whilst planning the day ahead. Walks are in abundance from this delightful cottage, and a visit to the castle is a must, complete with a visitor and interpretation centre. Harlech’s magnificent sandy beach is just over a mile away, and the famous Royal St. David's Golf Club, one of the finest links courses is just a 15 minute walk away, while the whole of the Snowdonia National Park is just waiting to be explored. Barmouth, Porthmadog, and the world-famous Italianate village of Portmeirion are all within easy access.
