Derwin Cottage is a fine example of a traditional 18th century longhouse lovingly restored to provide a very attractive holiday cottage complete with all mod cons. The cottage is full of antique and vintage furnishings and also has the luxury of a welcoming AGA, WiFi and a large flatscreen TV.

Derwin Cottage is arranged all on one level making it ideal for people who can't manage stairs and for families who don't want to worry about toddlers on steps. At the heart of the cottage is a large family type kitchen complete with an oil-fired AGA and huge refectory dining table. Fitted with hand-built wooden kitchen units, it is equipped with a retro fridge/freezer, microwave, two ring electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine and wall-mounted digital TV.  From here there is a small step down to the spacious lounge with impressive high vaulted ceiling, large sofa and chairs, multi-fuel stove, large flatscreen TV, DVD player, antique oak chest, writing table, wall lined book shelves and double doors to the driveway. The two cottage bedrooms are both individually decorated with flair and personality. One has a double antique iron bed and the other has twin beds. The family bathroom is fitted with a Victorian style bath and hand held shower, oak and slate floor, heated towel rail, WC and basin.

This pretty holiday cottage is set in an enclosed child-friendly and dog-friendly garden with a private lawned area to the side with table and chairs. There is a small stream separate from the garden and fenced off but small children should be supervised. Plenty of car parking and secure bike storage are available on site. A stable is also available @ £60/week.

Derwin Cottage can be booked with the neighbouring cottage, Llys Derwin, to sleep up to 8 guests.

Two dogs are welcome at a charge of £20/dog per week.

Electricity and heating included. First basket of logs supplied.

Bed linen is provided; please bring your own towels.

Travel cot and high chair available.

Babysitting and maid service available on request.
