Llys Derwin is a lovely Elizabethan stone cottage with a huge inglenook fireplace. It has its own private garden and is packed full of style and character, combining well-chosen antiques with many modern touches such as contemporary fittings, WiFi and a flatscreen TV.

The focal point of this gorgeous two bedroom holiday cottage is the lovely large lounge, packed with comfy seating, a curved settle, flatscreen TV, DVD player, antiques, a beamed ceiling, leaded light windows and a huge inglenook fireplace with multi-fuel stove. The gorgeous kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, washing machine and an oak table and chairs for four. The first floor of this character cottage is approached by a stone spiral staircase complete with slit window reminiscent of an arrow hole. The roof is supported by two huge collar beam trusses with the original oak purlins and spars exposed. The main bedroom has an antique French large double bed, exposed beams and panelled walls and the second bedroom is furnished with mahogany twin beds, a large antique wardrobe, corner washbasin and exposed beams. The quirky bathroom has a Victorian rolltop bath, Cath Kidston wallpaper, a corner WC and washbasin.

Llys Derwin has a large private, lawned garden to the side of the property with table and chairs, which extends to a wet bog garden (fenced) where you can spot dragonflies. Beyond this is a woodland with bluebells and a small stream waiting to be dammed with pebbles. There is plenty of car parking and secure bike storage is available. And for those lucky enough to own a horse there is a stable available for £60/week.

Derwin Cottage can be booked with the neighbouring cottage, Llys Derwin, to sleep up to 8 guests.

Two dogs are welcome @ £20/dog per week.

Electricity and heating included. Initial basket of logs supplied.

Bed linen is provided. Please bring your own towels.

Travel cot and high chair available.

Babysitting and maid service available on request.

Please note the staircase is beautiful but a little steep and you may need to duck. There is a stream in the lower part of the garden so children should be supervised
