Greenwood Forest park (a multi award winning family amusement park with an eco-theme) is less than a mile from the house. The village is just four miles from the Royal Town of Caernarfon with it's impressive Castle, Roman ruins, quay side attractions, Welsh Highland Steam Railway, golf club, airport, museums and more. Six miles further inland is Llanberis at the foot of Mt Snowdon the starting point of many walks, climbs and days out on the lake (Llyn Padarn).
