The ground floor bath plug did not work and the upstairs bath was by a window with no blinds and the water was never hot enough. The lounge had no extra heating except wood burner and was very cold however the rest of the house was fine, the kitchen excellent and the hot tub superb.

Settled in lovely countryside and close to shops but car is essential to get to places. I just felt it was lacking in homely touches and it was a shame as the cottage could be outstanding. We usually are greeted with a welcome hamper but unfortunately this wasn’t the case on arrival and a little disappointed for the price we paid to stay there and travelling for 6 hours to not have a drink/snacks on arrival. Owner was helpful and when we encountered an issue with the airer a new one was provided the same day which was nice.

The fully enclosed garden was a real bonus and perfect for our new puppy. We all really enjoyed our stay.
