Ty Uchaf is a lovely stone holiday cottage located in the pretty conservation village of Llangwm near Bala, on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, surrounded by wonderful scenery with many walks from the door. Antique furniture combines with retro items and pieces of local art to create a unique and welcoming space.

This 17th Century stone cottage is packed with character and provides a truly unique holiday home. Fully detached and set within its own grounds it is spacious and comfortable. The cottage is furnished with an eclectic mix of old and new, creating an imaginative and interesting holiday retreat. It has a large double height open plan living area with dining and kitchen space. The lounge area has large sofas, a library of books and patio doors to the garden. The kitchen is a cosy room with a retro feel and is equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, slimline dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge, small freezer (in shed), washing machine and a dining table and chairs for four. The original part of the cottage has a separate snug with a log stove in the inglenook fireplace together and original beams, furnished with a sofa and armchair, flatscreen TV, DVD player and CD/radio. A telephone is available for emergency calls and incoming calls only. The ground floor bathroom (up three steps) has a bath with shower over, basin, WC and slate effect flooring. Upstairs are two bedrooms - a large double room with original oak beams and a mezzanine with a sofa/double futon and gallery balcony overlooking the lounge.

Ty Uchaf is set in its own large gardens with lawns to all sides and a small stream to the front. Guests can enjoy a slate patio with wooden garden furniture and there is plenty of secure parking space. The cottage is situated within a conservation area in the village and enjoys views across the gardens to the hills behind. Please note the very edge of the front garden has a public right of way but this is rarely used.

£100 security deposit requested please.

One well-behaved dog is welcome by arrangement @ £20/week.

Electricity, central heating and WiFi included. Plentiful supply of logs provided.

Bed linen and towels provided.

Strictly no smoking please.

Please note there is a small stream at the front of the garden so children should be supervised. The stairs are open and not suitable for a stairgate so again children need to be supervised.
