The views lovely. The cottage is very clean , with homely comfort feel. It was lovely to relax in the evening time. Jane the owner came iver to greet me in the morning as my arrival was early hours of the morning . Which I appreciated. There was a welcome pack of cake, wine, coffee, tea & milk very thoughtful. Ruthin is not far away 5 miles . Found it a bit hard to find the cottage, as my sat navigation decided not work due to the bad weather 30mph winds & 2 Am . Easier in the daylight. Other than this small hitch , it was perfect in every way.

The cottage is gorgeous, very clean and the log burner makes it so cozy. The scenery is outstanding and the cottage is a lot bigger than it seems from the pictures. Had a fantastic homemade lemon drizzle cake and bottle of wine in the welcome basket. Such a quiet and relaxing stay away from the kids and dogs. Would 100% recommend a stay here.

I have stayed in many Sykes Cottages but I have to say this is the only place where I have totally relaxed and felt at home. We didn't need anything, the home was kitted out with everything required to cook a meal, breakfast, dinner etc. The place was so clean and very comfortable. We had a very relaxing and peaceful week, and will definitely return and recommend to all our friends. We were very sorry to have to leave and would have loved 2 weeks in this beautiful very characteristic home. Within travelling distance to Chester, Portmeirion and lots of other interesting places to visit. As keen photographers the views were idyllic and we were lucky to have good weather until the day we left. Sorry to have to leave but we will return. Thank You Jane
