Was cosy indoors with log burner on whilst stormy weather outside. Lovely well equipped cottage. Fab welcome tray, milk in fridge, wine and ground coffee and cafetière which was a lovely surprise. Whilst the location feels off the beaten track it did not take too long to get to local towns. There’s fresh eggs close by and Llaethdy Llwyn Banc Dairy to get ice cream fresh (from the farm) milk vending and milkshakes close by. Would have been nice to have had the ability to get catchup tv (one of our party stayed home a couple of days and likes Netflix) and we didn’t think to take our firestick with us. Would definitely recommend. Not too far from Chester Zoo either.
