Llangollen 1.5 miles. Resting in an elevated position just outside peaceful village of Llangollen, North Wales lies this gorgeous barn conversion, Barn 2. With magnificent views of countryside hills, this superb property makes an ideal base for a family holiday, any time of year. On arrival at the barn, park your car in one of two off-road spaces and make your way into your home-from-home for the trip. Enter the open-plan living space, sure to be the social hub throughout your stay, and take advantage of the kitchen, home to all the appliances you need to rustle up tasty meals for your loved ones. Enjoy your home-cooked meals at the dining table before sinking into the sofa to watch a film on the TV. As the evening draws to a close, make your way up to the first floor where three bedrooms await, fit with zip and link beds and plenty of storage; the master bedroom hosts a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with an additional walk-in shower, while the remaining two bedrooms house another king-size and a twin, each with en-suite shower rooms. Hosts couldnt have been more helpful. Lovely comfortable beds and all rooms were ensuite. Pub next door is very dog friendly and food was delicious. Only minor issue for us was no secure garden but didnt bother us that much. Lovely walk straight from cottage which totally wore our dogs out! We even got to see the Northern lights on New Years night which ended our break on a high!!!!

Has everything you need for a weeks stay, beds extremely comfortable and shower is sensational (pressure is amazing). Paul & Katy as hosts were exceptional, attentive, so friendly and welcoming. They made us feel so welcome, both in the barn and in the pub next door. Highly recommend the pub next door for food and drink, there is nowhere better for a quiet drink by the fire or some food (whether it's a small bite to eat or a bigger meal), all the staff are so welcoming and lovely. We will definitely be back again, and once again, thank you for the most perfect stay. What a gem!!

The barn had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. The pub food is not to be missed, but you may need to book at table as it's understandably popular. All the staff we really friendly and helpful and our dog had a great time too :) It is in easy reach of lovely walks from the barn into Llangollen along the canal with lots of little independent shops and cafes. The Aquaduct at Pontcysyllte is also worth a trip, the Chapel tea room is great for parking and refreshments or meals. Thank you
