About this property

Llandegla 2 miles. This luxurious, single-storey barn conversion is set in rural countryside, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just two miles from the Denbighshire village of Llandegla in North Wales. This charming, semi-detached stone cottage boasts high quality fixtures and fittings throughout, including exposed beams, oak doors and window sills, which can be seen as soon as you enter the central hallway. The spacious kitchen with dining area forms the hub of the home, and has been installed to a high specification with fully integrated appliances, including a wine cooler. The welcoming sitting room with patio doors is warmed by a character woodburning stove, just inviting you to settle down for a cosy evening with your friends and family. The bedrooms are well appointed with a twin room, double room with en-suite shower, and a master bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, in addition to the stylish family bathroom off the hall. Outside, the garden is enclosed and private, with superb views across paddocks to woodland, whilst a bubbling hot tub invites you to relax and soak away your stresses under the moonlit sky, perhaps after a tasty evening barbecue or alfresco meal. There is so much to do in the area you will be spoilt for choice, with walks and cycle routes in abundance, as well as the off road bike trails at Llandegla Forest. Surf Snowdonia, Tree Top Adventures and Zip World are also nearby for those looking for excitement. For a more relaxing day, why not explore Chirk Castle or visit the coast? Whatever you have on your wish list, this luxury cottage is an excellent holiday destination for long lasting memories. Note: This property is next to Ref. 18647, together they sleep 12.

The Denbighshire village of Llandegla lies on the banks of the River Alyn and is located in the heart of North Wales. It was established as a result of drovers moving their cattle from Wales to market in England, and later as a quarry workers' village. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is bordered by the Clwydian range to the north and Llandegla Forest to the south.

Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a huge kitchen with everything you could imagine, and a beautiful location. The hot tub was brilliant and we adopted Garfield the Cat for the week. Highly recommended as a great base for a holiday exploring North Wales.
