Pen y Foel Isaf is situated in a stunning elevated position, surrounded by beautiful lawned gardens, with a small stream, mature trees, shrub borders, a swing, several of the owner's sculptures and fabulous views across the Dee Valley and over towards the Berwyn Mountains. This is in a good location for exploring the Vale of Llangollen (10 miles) and the historic town of Ruthin (9.5 miles).

This property comprises a comfortably furnished and spacious living room with an electric wood effect stove, TV/DVD, and music system. The light filled conservatory has under floor heating, seating and stunning views. There is a separate dining room with table and chairs for six. The fitted kitchen is well equipped to include a dishwasher, washing machine, double oven and plenty of kitchen ware, crockery and cutlery for any budding chefs! Also a small table and chairs. There are two bedrooms with great views: a twin, and a double with fitted wardrobes and a small TV. The first floor bathroom has a large shower cubicle, bath and a separate WC plus there is a ground floor cloakroom. The extensive garden has garden furniture placed for admiring the scenery and enjoying the wealth of bird life. The garden is supplied with bird feeders and, adjacent to the parking area, there are several galvanised bins, each labelled with the contents, including peanuts, sunflower seed hearts, nyjer seed and wild bird food. Guests are encouraged to top up the feeders. Parking is alongside the property.

Pen y Foel Isaf is next to Ysgubor Wen (WAF186) and together could accommodate 6 people. This is a beautiful rural area with green rolling hills and farm land, great for walking, mountain biking, fishing and a great variety of other outdoor activities. There are shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes in nearby Corwen. Visit Corwen, Carrog and Llangollen for the heritage steam railway. At Llangollen, enjoy lovely canal-side walks, horse-drawn barges on the canal and canoeing on the adjacent river Dee. The town also hosts the International Music Eisteddfod in July. Both the Snowdonia National Park and the walled city of Chester are within a short drive. Water sports at Bala lake, 12 miles.
