About this property

In beautiful rural setting within the hamlet of Pentrefelin on the edge of Llandyrnog village, close to the market towns of Ruthin and Denbigh. This is a hidden gem, the undiscovered corner of North Wales where the Clwydian range begins with an abundance of walks, mountain biking and cycling opportunities, fishing, bird watching and more.

Bracdy is located in this beautiful, undiscovered part of North Wales, close to the village of Llandyrnog, between the castle town of Denbigh and the market town of Ruthin. A splendid location with so much to do and many places to explore.  In close proximity to the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley aonb (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) which runs from Prestatyn to Llangollen.  The Offa's Dyke walk and the Clwydian Way both pass through the area and a short drive away is Llyn Brenig, a wonderful lake surrounded by forest with a trout fishery and visitor centre offering cycle hire and sailing. To the south is Llandegla and the One Planet Adventure mountain biking centre. A little further south the magnificent Horseshoe Pass leads down to Llangollen, famous for the international Eisteddfod, and the nearby World Heritage area which covers 11 miles of canal including the impressive Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. To the North lies the coast from Talacre Beach to the Victorian resort town of Llandudno, a stretch of coastline full of opportunities, history and culture. Across the border and into England the historic city of Chester with its medieval buildings and city walls is only 26 miles away.

This idyllic, self-contained, annex style cottage is all on one level and looks out over the rural countryside from the modern, well equipped, if small, kitchen lounge with breakfast bar and conservatory. There is a spacious shower room and a good sized bedroom with double bed and window looking over the private patio area and towards the raised garden.

Facilities include full central heating, washing machine, microwave, TV, high speed broadband with Wi-Fi access and patio furniture for those warm evenings relaxing in the sun. Central heating, electricity and bed linen and towels are included in the rental.

Please note this is a no smoking property and there are a number of steps up to the front door. One well behaved dog is welcome to stay.
