About this property

St Davids 1 mile. This character-filled detached farmhouse is located in open countryside in the hamlet of Rhodiad y Brenin near St Davids, and is an absolute delight. The driveway through the large grassed garden area welcomes you and offers a glimpse the property. Step straight into the kitchen of this St Davids cottage, with a warming Rayburn in an inglenook-style fireplace, character open beams, a breakfast table and stairs leading to the family bedroom. A few stone steps up from the St Davids cottage kitchen and you will find the large dining room, where you can all enjoy meals together or play games around the farmhouse table. The sitting room of your St Davids cottage offers an open fire, sure to warm you on cooler evenings, and there is also a snug with patio doors leading out into the large enclosed garden, offering more countryside views. The five bedrooms offer flexible accommodation; the main staircase from the hallway leads to the double, bunk room, twin rooms and the family bathroom of this cottage near St Davids. From one of the twin rooms there is a lockable interconnecting door leading down a few open-tread steps to the family room. This family room can also be accessed from the stairs in the kitchen, offering real versatility. A ground floor shower room and extra WC in the utility complete the accommodation at this charming St Davids cottage. With such spacious St Davids cottage accommodation and superb safe gardens, you can enjoy days here without venturing any further. The delightful city of St Davids is just a mile away and, being the smallest city in the UK, it is an attraction not to be missed; its magnificent cathedral, array of gift shops, tea rooms, and other eating places make it a joy for everyone. Visit the beautiful beach of Whitesands, walk part of the famous coastal path, book a boat trip to spot dolphins, explore historic castles, enjoy modern theme parks or just relax at the cottage together. This welcoming St Davids holiday cottage will be the perfect base for enjoying this beautiful part of Wales.

St Davids, Wales' smallest city, lies at the far end of the south-west coast of Wales. St Davids has a magnificent cathedral which dates back to the 12th Century, and still boasts the ruins of the Bishop's Palace. The city is set within the Pembrokeshire National Park, and offers a good variety of shops, eateries, tearooms and pubs. There are sandy beaches nearby, and great walking and wildlife can be enjoyed from the nearby coastal path. Visitors may also wish to visit Oakwood Theme Park, or try dolphin spotting on a boat trip to one of the local islands.
