About this property

A lovely semi-detached cottage resting in the small village of Newton in the county of Swansea. Conveniently positioned next to the village shop with the beautiful Langland Bay and Victorian Mumbles Pier within easy reach, this well-presented property can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Finished to a lovely standard the rooms are spread over three floors, with one of the double rooms situated in the attic, showcasing pretty views of the bay from the Velux window in the apex of the roof. The other two double bedrooms rest on the middle floor alongside the large, modern bathroom, decorated in an all-white wash with plentiful space to get the family ready each morning and night. The neutral overtones add to the pleasant seaside surroundings, bringing peace and calm into the home. The delightful dining room, set up for six, is accompanied by a characterful woodburner, placed in the wall within a beautiful wood fireplace. The patio doors open out onto the decking area with coastal vistas to brighten up each day that goes by. Adjacent to this is the sitting room with comfortable seating allowing you to relax through your stay. A well-appointed kitchen is laid out at the rear of the property with a square composition held together with light coloured units and integrated fixtures. Out in the village you have access to many attractions engulfing the area. Mumbles and Gower invite you to enjoy the coastal path and pristine stretches of golden sands. The stunning scenery all along the south coast offers a wonderful line of inlets and alcoves along with beautiful bays, a delight to discover any time of the year. The city and county of Swansea brings a thriving array of amenities to life, a rather unique place to visit. This cottage is a charming retreat to base your Welsh holiday.

Swansea, on the South Wales coastline, offers a city centre with a choice of retail chain shops plus a variety of local, individual shops too. With a leisure park, a theatre, a marina, restaurants, and sandy beaches on the doorstep, it really is quite a unique city to visit. Mumbles and the Gower beckon you to enjoy the coast path and beaches. From small little coves to the vast Rhossilli beach and Worms Head, the scenery is spectacular any time of year. Sporting days can be enjoyed watching football or rugby in Swansea or in nearby Llanelli or Cardiff. Festivals, concerts, guided walks and so much more can be experienced in this part of Wales.
