The cottage thoughtfully provides a stairgate, travel cot, and highchair, a family-friendly element to ensure each of you can holiday at ease. A family bathroom is also located on this floor, elevated by a special spa bath which sits in the corner, and complete with an overhead shower. Once you have spent some time enjoying the interior, wander outside to the fabulous garden, from the decked seating areas to the lawned area, you can relax under the summer sun. For something different, adventure into the village and beyond; full of quaint individual shops, cafes and restaurants, stroll the local amenities at your own leisure. As well as an area of beauty, Bridgend has a collection of shopping centres, whilst the capital Cardiff lies less than 20 miles east, with the Welsh city of Swansea 20 miles in the opposite direction. Bridgend train station has regular services to Cardiff Central, Bristol Parkway and London Paddington with more to see. A true home away from home experience.

Once a thriving village created around the Welsh mining works, this charming Welsh village still offers a pub and general stores and is easily accessed from the M4 motorway. The old Victorian iron works is now a wonderful attraction in Tondu Park where you can learn so much of its history, then take a bike ride along the Celtic Trail, stroll through the countryside, enjoy a picnic or try some mountain biking.
