Guests say

Tram View in Llandudno is praised for its superb location, spaciousness, and stunning views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the added convenience of parking. While some minor issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Most guests found the apartment to be clean and well-presented upon arrival. There was an isolated incident involving a carpet beetle and a report of a damp smell, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is consistently lauded for being central, quiet, and within walking distance to local attractions, restaurants, and the beach. The proximity to the tram station is also a highlight.

The apartment is generally found to be comfortable, with a few guests noting issues with the beds and a desire for a second bathroom. However, the living spaces and views are often described as enjoyable.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas. Some guests mentioned the lack of shelves in the shower and mismatched furniture. The TV signal was also a concern for some.

While some guests mentioned thoughtful touches like milk and biscuits provided by the owner, there are not enough references to consistently evaluate this category. It is important to note that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

About this property

Tram View rests in the heart of Llandudno, mere paces away from the lively promenade, which plays host to an array of colourful seaside amenities at their finest. This North Wales apartment is positioned within a characterful building just opposite the Great Orme Tramway, where you can hitch a ride up to the summit of the dominating Great Orme. Climb to the second floor of the building and find this lovely holiday home, well-catered for couples and young families wishing to spend some quality time together in a bustling, seaside destination. You have a master bedroom playing host to a superking size bed, while the family room hosts a bunk and a single bed, is ideal for those with children. Look forward to some down time spent in the open-plan living room, where you have a well-appointed kitchen boasting a breakfast island and a lovely dining area for you to get together at meal times. If you fancy a night off from cooking, there is a fish and chip shop and a restaurant just up the road, just what you need after a tiresome day exploring the local sights. Catch glimpses of the sea and the coastline from the large window and admire the views over Llandudno town before unwinding into your evening in front of the TV. To the exterior is off-road parking and free roadside parking, however there are many attractions close by which can be reached on foot. There are two beautiful beaches to enjoy nearby, the North Shore being the closest, while the West Shore is a mile away and the quieter of the two. Days can be spent strolling along the promenade, browsing the shops, dining out and embracing the fabulous outdoors, with the Snowdonia National Park offering some wonderful opportunities for walking and cycling within driving distance. A glorious retreat in a sought-after location.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!

The flat was warm, clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The views of Llandudno and the Great Orme were an added bonus. As long as one can manage two flights of stairs this flat is well worth considering. It is great value for the money we paid - probably the best Sykes cottage we have stayed in in Llandudno - and we have stayed in quite a few!

Lovely, clean and tidy. The view of the town from the window was gorgeous, especially at night when it's all lit up. Within walking distance to the pier, beach, pub, shops, great Orme. To have a dedicated parking space is a blessing. Would totally recommend this property. Thank you.

Saying that although right opposite the Tram station (hense the name) it was very quiet which is very important to me personally. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable living room with a good view from window. I would recommend anyone who would like to visit Llandudno to stay here, short walks to beaches, town centre and a fish n chip shop and pub over the road. What's not to like! :D
