About this property

A wonderfully spacious Edwardian townhouse, set on the edge of the pretty town of Llanrwst. Tryfan is a great base for family groups wishing to get together and enjoy a fantastic holiday in the beautiful Conwy Valley. Arranged over three floors, this delightful house offers stylish accommodation and is presented to a good standard with modern day comforts whilst original character features, such as the pitched pine turned staircase, tiled flooring and ornate fireplaces have all been retained. The space is accentuated by the bay windows to the front and high ceilings throughout, which enhance the bright feeling and welcoming atmosphere. Six comfy bedrooms sit across the split-level first floor and also on the second floor, each one is well presented and comes with good quality beds, with the front rooms enjoying a pleasant outlook over the rooftops to the surrounding hillside scenery. The sitting room is comfortable and characterful with its decorative cast iron fireplace and slate surround, and the bespoke kitchen has plenty of units and slate work surfaces, and extends into a dining area. For the chefs in your party, the inglenook fireplace housing the dual range oven is sure to be a big hit whilst creating culinary delights for the whole family. If you fancy a night off the cooking then there are many eating establishments in the village to choose from. Tryfan is centrally located and so many attractions are easily accessed, making it a wonderful base. Outside, there is a small front courtyard and a rear patio area with benches. There’s also secure storage for bikes, surfboards and kayaks and a drying room for your wetsuits etc. is a bonus, as Surf Snowdonia, the first artificial wave lagoon of its kind in Wales is only a short drive away. Blaenau Ffestiniog is a 20 minutes’ away and is home to Zip World, the longest four-man zip wire in Europe, and Bounce Below, an underground network of trampolines, sure to exhilarate! If you fancy a more leisurely day out, then take the Ffestiniog steam train to Porthmadog, which chugs along the coastline. With so much to see and experience nearby and excellent accommodation to return to, this is a perfect holiday home for all the family.

Llanrwst is a thriving market town which stands in the beautiful Conwy Valley, only four miles from picturesque Betws-y-Coed, known as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia' and which is North Wales's most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
