About this property

Cerrigydrudion 2 miles. A wonderful, double fronted, end-terrace cottage situated on a quiet lane in the rural hamlet of Cefn Brith, surrounded by open farmland and rolling countryside. This pretty cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the beautiful depths of North Wales, and will appeal to couples anticipating a romantic break, or friends and family wishing to spend some quality time together. Boasting plenty of charm, the sitting room offers a cosy night in, featuring an open fire with slate hearth, perfect for those cooler days and chillier evenings. The more intimate dining area is perfect for a romantic supper or a leisurely breakfast, setting you up for a day of adventure and exploration. The fitted kitchen is complete with solid oak counter tops and a Belfast sink, well equipped to cater for all your needs. A downstairs shower room leads off the kitchen and three nicely appointed bedrooms lie upstairs, all tastefully decorated to make your stay that much more memorable. Outside is a seating area to the front of the cottage where you can enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or a refreshing drink on a warm summers evening, whilst taking in the views over the hills, fields and beyond. The enclosed patio at the rear provides additional seating and is sheltered, forming the ideal set up for some alfresco dining. The Rhug Organic Farm and Restaurant is just ten miles away and is the perfect place to pick up some supplies for the barbecue! Wrapped in countryside, there are a series of enticing walks from the cottage, whilst the Glassblobbery Glassworks and GYG Karting circuit rest just outside the village of Cerrigydrudion for the more adventurous. Both Bala, with its lake and numerous watersports, and Betws-y-Coed, where you can enjoy those peaceful waterfall walks are less than twenty minutes away by car, opening up the Snowdonia National Park and mountain range. Why not drive to Llanberis; a perfect start to the ascent of Snowdon or take the Snowdon mountain railway to the summit for something a little less strenuous. Further afield is Llangollen, another gem of a place attracting tourists from all over the world, where you can paddle in the river, or hop on a boat to be at one with the scenic delights. Make yourself at home in this exceptional location.

The village of Cerrigydrudion is situated on the high moorlands in the county of Conwy in North Wales, located between the lakeside town of Bala and charming Betws-y-Coed. Boasting Lakes Brenig and Alwen within a few miles, this peaceful village offers superb walking, cycling and wildlife watching opportunities amidst the surrounding countryside. There is also a family-run community entertainment centre offering a coffee shop, cinema screen and internet access. The popular tourist towns of Betws-y-Coed and Bala are both within easy driving distance offering a range of interesting shops, inns and restaurants, along with a host of outdoor activities, including rafting and climbing to name just two.
