Inside, you’ll find an open-plan living space that incorporates a kitchen area with all you’ll need to create hearty dishes. There’s a spacious dining table where you can enjoy your meals, and squashy sofas for cosy evenings in, perhaps with a book from the shelves or enjoying your favourite shows on the Smart TV. The elegant shower room is also on this level. At bedtime, a cast-iron spiral staircase leads you to your dreamy bedroom, decorated in pale, soft tones for a restful night’s sleep. If you’ve bought some local produce on your travels you can light up the BBQ on the patio and grill a delicious treat, and you’re welcome to explore the 45-acre farmland which surrounds you, which has fields with sheep and horses. At the edge of the grounds you can join a cycle route for scenic rides through the Conwy Valley.
The barn is just 3 miles from Conwy itself, one of Britain’s best-preserved medieval towns. Explore its variety of shops and places to eat and drink, and walk along its medieval battlements to enjoy incredible views. At Llandudno, 5 miles, you’ll find a classic Victorian coastal resort, with donkey rides on the beach, the longest pier in Wales, two beaches and even a cable-car ride.
