    Maesyfed is a cosy cottage in an elevated position, on the holiday park of the National Showcaves for Wales. One double bedroom with waterbed and en-suite Jacuzzi bathroom provides comfortable accommodation for up to two people. There's also an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, while outside, there is a private bench in front of the property and a number of communal lawned areas to enjoy together, with a BBQ area. The holiday site also offers a swimming pool, gym, a games room, crazy golf course, dry ski slope and children's play area. Guests can enjoy reduced admission rates into the National Showcaves where you can witness the beauty of three wonderful caves, come face-to-face with over 200 life-size dinosaur models, visit the Shire horse farm or Iron Age fort. With all this and many miles of stunning scenery to discover surrounding the property, Maesyfed is a great choice for your getaway!

    Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

    The sleepy little hamlet of Pen-y-cae lies on the River Tawe amongst the beautiful scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park. With a local country inn serving award-winning food, this is an excellent, away-from-it-all base for your Welsh getaway. Surrounding by sweeping countryside and rounded peaks, Pen-y-cae is a great place for discovering the great outdoors.

Shared use of indoor heated swimming pool (11 metres long, 4 metres wide and up to 1.5 metres deep), games room, children's play area, crazy golf, gym (over 16’s only), tennis courts and dry ski-slope (additional charge payable). Subsidised entry to The National Showcaves Centre for Wales. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 4 miles, pubs 7 mins walk. Note: Pool open 8am – 9pm daily, no lifeguards on duty. Note: Ski-slope charged at £12 adult, £10 children for 90 mins skiing (inc. boots and skis), plus basic tuition for beginners. Note: Reduced entry to Showcaves, inc. farm attraction. Note: Due to external steps and slopes, this site is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
