About this property

Tresaith 0.6 miles. A luxurious, modern and stylish property, in an elevated position with sea views from the raised veranda, on the edge of a small valley leading down to the popular seaside village of Tresaith. The cottage offers upside down accommodation set over two floors. There are two large bedrooms downstairs, each with en-suite shower rooms and their own TV and DVD player. On the first floor is a light and airy open plan living area, with a well-equipped modern kitchen, a spacious dining area and a sitting area which opens onto a raised glass-sided veranda. You can sit outside after a day on the beach, enjoy the stunning view and watch the sun go down with an ice cold drink, or enjoy the relaxing bubbles in the private hot tub, which is not overlooked. The cottage is just a short drive from the popular town of Cardigan, full of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. Nearby are beautiful sandy beaches, or just inland is the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve. You are ideally placed to explore the diverse countryside that Cardigan Bay and the surrounding areas has to offer, with various outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, cycling, sea kayaking or climbing. There are also a selection of boat tours, offering the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the bay’s resident dolphins, as well as the opportunity to visit the interesting array of small towns dotted along the coast. The Regency harbourside town of Aberaeron, with its brightly coloured houses, is just 16 miles away, where you can sit and relax on the quayside, and enjoy the popular cafes and restaurants. Also nearby is the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron. A perfect luxury property to retreat to with family or friends, to enjoy the far-reaching views, just a short walk from the popular beachside resort of Tresaith. Note: This property is adjacent to Ref. 912945, together they sleep 24.

The bustling market town of Cardigan in Ceredigion is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, as well as tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle. Surrounding Cardigan is beautiful countryside, whilst the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline is just a few miles away, where you have the opportunity to visit the Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful Blue Flag sandy beaches, or take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals.

The house was just as described and had everything we needed. The hot tub was an added bonus and not overlooked at all. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a lovely afternoon tea at the bed and breakfast next door. I would recommend getting the extra towels and robes for the hot tub as they do come in useful. The only thing was that the house has a bit of a damp problem. The only radiators are heated towel rails in the bathroom so it was difficult to get things dry. Apart from that we had a great time.
