About this property

Towyn Hall is a beautifully presented, detached cottage located in the pretty, seaside town of New Quay, in Wales, located just a few minutes walk from the beach where you can sample local eateries right on the shore front. With a modern interior, off-road parking and an enclosed patio garden to the rear, you have all you need for a well-earned, relaxing break. This is the ideal location for making the most of a family beach holiday, with wonderful opportunities to spot dolphins on organised boat trips and try a myriad of watersports. From the front entrance, you will arrive at the beautiful sitting room, which is kept warm in winter by the woodburning stove, the ideal place to unwind with a book or your favourite shows on TV. Cook up a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen to the rear of the cottage and get everyone together around the dining table in the sun room for an evening feast followed by refreshing drinks and late-night chats. Alternatively, use the dining room to the front of the cottage to spend your down time, which provides a lovely space to socialise over a bottle of wine. Upstairs is where you will find the well-presented bedrooms and family bathroom, perfect for a deep soak in the tub before getting ready for bed. There is one double room, playing host to its very own en-suite shower room, following a twin room that can be a super king room followed by a twin and a single bedroom, ideal for all sorts of groups looking to get away for a while. Choose to sit out on the patio on a warm summer's evening with a drink, and when the sun goes in, light a fire and keep cosy as you make the most of this pleasant setting. Head into town to find a range of shops, pubs and eateries and enjoy the breath-taking views as you stroll along the waterfront. Journey on one of the boat trips for an adventure on the sea, spotting dolphins, seals and all kinds of rare birds flying overhead. Try out sailing or kayaking and enjoy many day trips to the surrounding beaches, the National Trust's Penbryn or find yourselves exploring the glorious landscape scenery over the Preseli Hills. A short walk to Foel Eryr offers its 360-degree panorama, with views across the sea to Ireland and Snowdonia on a clear day. Spend the day at Aberystwyth with its Cliff Railway and even discover all the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has to offer further south. A fabulous retreat for a memorable holiday to the coast.

New Quay is one of the most popular holiday resorts offering strolls along the sea edge, a range of gift shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, along with of boat trips and many other watersports. Be prepared for a killer of a hill , when returning from the village if walking, although there are plenty of car parks if you don't want to walk, The village is lovely, with some great places ,to eat, .most of them dog friendly, what a fantastic surprise to be able to see dolphins swimming in the bay everyday, beautiful beaches to stroll along too

Plenty of room, comfortable beds and sofas. Amazing chocolate cake delivered, thank you. Also milk, bread, butter, tea bags etc. Added extra a bottle of Prosecco. We arrived early, messaged the owners and went straight into the cottage, thank you for that really appreciated. Lovely pub within a couple of minutes walk, home cooked food, really friendly, worth a visit. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.
