Site Description
At Penrhos you are approximately one and a half miles from the nearest beach in the scenic Wyre Valley – midway between Aberystwyth and Aberaeron. Great for serious golfers and beginners alike, there is a challenging 18 hole golf course with reduced green fees, a 9 hole course and a driving range.
You will be able to enjoy the use of a splendid leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, fitness suite, steam room, sauna and solarium. Relax in the comfortably furnished lounge and sports bar or dine at the Penhros Grill which offers an excellent selection of fresh local produce.
Close by are historic towns and quaint harbour villages with shops, pubs and restaurants. The village shop is nearby. Sailing, fishing, horse riding and walking available locally.
Please be aware between 3rd January and 25th January 2020 there will be no food served in the restaurant and the bar will shut at 8pm, we apologise for any inconvenience.

Accommodation was comfortable, clean and tidy, but maintenance attention to detail was pretty poor - cleaners obviously do not report minor faults to the maintenance team meaning some irritating (but easily resolved) issues waiting for the customers to report them! Promised resolutions were proposed, some immediately actioned but not all were speedily resolved.Showers very good. Bedding etc fine. "Bath Towels" could be larger. (Take your own large towels for swimming pool purposes).Wooden Bench only on Mobile Home decking - no Sun Loungers.

As this was our third time staying in a Falcon Lodge we found it to be a little tired and in need of some TLC this time. Was surprised that the lodge was dirty in places especially the paintwork and radiators, again just needs a lick of paint. Bed was fairly comfortable but mattress overhung the bed base which was a little strange. Double bedroom not as spacious as others we have stayed in as the area around the bed next to the window was very limiting. Kitchen was well equipped however we used the restaurant/takeout three times while at the park. Food was good but little expensive.
