A modern, semi-detached, bungalow situated in a pretty wooded vale amidst a selection of holiday homes, close to the village of Ciliau Aeron, on the outskirts of the popular Regency harbour town of Aberaeron, in West Wales. The property is a perfect base for a small family looking to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside, yet being close to seaside towns, beautiful coves and beaches and fantastic wildlife. This delightful cottage is all on the ground floor with an open plan living area, comprising compact kitchen, dining area and through to a light and airy conservatory. Relax in the conservatory where there is comfy seating and enjoy the views across to the adjacent wooded valley. There are also two cosy bedrooms with a family shower room. Outside, you can sit and wind down with a refreshing drink whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the vale. This lovely cottage is close to the pretty town of Aberaeron with its candy coloured houses, popular eateries and a selection of boutique style shops. The River Aeron runs through the village, just a stone’s throw from the cottage, which opens up fabulous river walks. A five minute walk offers the opportunity to explore the Secret Gardens of Ty Glyn, a beautifully-restored walled garden and children’s play area, perfect to spend time relaxing with a picnic. This selection of holiday homes also has a private walkway to the local hotel and restaurant, a lovely setting to while away a few hours. You are ideally placed to explore the fabulous coastline of Cardigan Bay which has lots of sandy beaches. A short drive will take you to the beautifully restored National Trust Llanerchaeron House and working farm, or alternatively travel to the Trust’s Penbryn or Mwnt beaches. The area offers numerous outdoor activities, such as dolphin and wildlife spotting, boat trips on the coast, river and sea fishing, as well as the Cors Caron National Nature Reserve, which is 2000 acres of wildlife rich raised bogs, linked by a network of boardwalks. Slightly further afield, why not visit the traditional seaside resort of New Quay, famous for resident dolphins or the university town of Lampeter with a selection of tea rooms and independent shops? Aberystwyth is a short drive away, with its Victorian promenade and pier, popular funicular railway and a chance to jump on the local steam train to the local beauty spot of Devil’s Bridge, a great place to spend a day exploring. A perfect base, with a myriad of activities just minutes away.

A pretty Georgian coastal town located between Cardigan and Aberystwyth with a lovely pebble beach and beautiful sea views.
