This attractive, semi-detached cottage, apposite the owner's home, is surrounded by tranquil countryside, on the outskirts of Llanybydder in West Wales. Garden View is a wonderful, contemporary property for a couple or small family looking for a Welsh rural retreat. Step into the property to be greeted by a well thought out, open-plan living room, which makes the most of the space, with lovely dark wood flooring and a neutral colour scheme with splashes of grey and mustard. The sitting room offers a corner sofa that the whole group can relax on while enjoying the view of the garden from the patio door or being entertained by something on the TV, while the dining table can comfortably seat the whole group and you can enjoy delicious meals together, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. The property has two contemporary bathrooms to choose from; a ground-floor shower room and a first-floor family bathroom with bath and handheld shower, so there shouldn't be any queues in the mornings, while upstairs you will also find the two bedrooms, which include a master king-size double with stunning original beams, a TV and Juliet balcony, overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside, as well as a spacious twin, which would be ideal for younger guests. A scenic car journey will take you to the coast of West Wales, with a choice of lovely beaches and the market town of Aberyswyth to explore. A small market town straddling the River Teifi, Llanybydder is a typical old Welsh town with a small selection of shops, including a Post Office, bakers and farmers co-operative, and a few pubs and eating places scattered throughout its streets. It is the focal point for the surrounding farmers, and regularly holds horse sales. The countryside is perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers alike. Set on the border between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, Llanybydder is perfectly positioned to travel to the county town of Carmarthen with its busy shopping centre, with small individual quirky shops and the well-known high street stores, Merlin's Hill Centre and even a steam railway. The superb coastline of both south and west Wales is within 20 miles for great seaside days and coastal walks on the world renowned Welsh coastal path. An excellent central location to enjoy the south west of Wales.

    Owners were lovely and very welcoming , hot tub was lush we cannot wait to come back but with our children as they will enjoy it as much as we did with all the little bunnies running around listening to all the farm animals just made it even more relaxing . Would highly recommend
