This cottage near Llandovery is one of a pair of attractive stone former farm buildings in a lovely rural location on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Beudy is one of a pair of attractive semi-detached stone cottages, converted from former farm buildings, located in a peaceful rural situation about 5 miles north east of  Llandovery, 8 miles south west of  Llanwrtyd Wells and about 20 miles to Brecon or Builth Wells. The cottage is situated on the yard of the owners' former farm, surrounded by neighbouring farm fields, on the edge of the Crychan Forest, just north west of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Beudy has open-plan living accommodation on the ground floor, with tiled flooring, comfortable seating in front of a cast iron open fireplace, Freeview TV/DVD player, pine dining table and four chairs, and a neatly fitted kitchen area with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge. There is a separate utility room with freezer and washing machine. The ground floor bathroom has electric shower over the bath and a washbasin, with a separate WC and washbasin adjacent. Upstairs are two well-presented bedrooms - a double and a twin - with beamed, sloping ceilings, but good headroom. The cottage has oil-fired central heating throughout and logs are provided for the open fire.

This is an excellent area for walkers, mountain bikers, birdwatchers and stargazers.  To the rear of the pair of cottages is a shared, enclosed lawned garden with a picnic bench for each cottage; barbecue available. Bike storage can be arranged. Guests have access to adjoining fields when not used for sheep-grazing, providing excellent space for children and pets to run free and let of steam! Llandovery (5 miles) is a pretty little town with a ruined castle to explore and a range of local shops. Llanwrtyd Wells, 8 miles away, is the "smallest town in Britain". Nearby places of interest include the Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Dryslwyn, Carreg Cennen and Dinefwr Castles near Llandeilo.

Beudy can be booked with the neighbouring cottages (WAW200 and WAW243) to accommodate groups of up to 21 people.
