About this property

Llandeilo 3 miles. This spacious detached cottage is set in the heart of the small village of Trapp, opposite the owners' pub where good food is served daily. The river running through the village wends its way under a bridge and along the boundary of this wonderful Llandeilo cottage, where you can fish for trout or just enjoy the pretty river running through the woods. There are two entrances at this Llandeilo cottage - one leads into the superbly equipped kitchen with dining area on the ground floor level, and the other leads up a few steps and onto the first floor level, where you will find four beautiful bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room, plus the family bathroom, which boasts a Jacuzzi bath. This Llandeilo cottage has a spacious sitting room with patio doors, which lead out onto the garden, from where you can enjoy alfresco dining and take in the wonderful countryside views and distant views of Carreg Cennen Castle. A full-size pool table is housed in the garage, with underfloor heating making it a nice cosy space, where you can enjoy a few games after a busy day exploring the area. Take scenic walks and cycle rides or visit the castle, which is open daily, and due to its superb elevated position, offers panoramic views of the beautiful Welsh countryside. Enjoy unique shopping in Llandeilo or visit Carmarthen with larger branded shops, a cinema, theatre, Merlin's Hill Centre and steam railway. The beautiful South Wales coast from the Gower down to Pembrokeshire is all within an easy drive, meaning there is something for everyone in the area, before returning to this superb Llandeilo cottage for family evenings together.

The market town of Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire is set on a hill above the River Tywi and offers unusual gift shops, eating places, pubs and the medieval Dinefwr and Carreg Cennen Castles.
