A detached farmhouse near Laugharne on the owners' smallholding, 4 or 5 miles from the huge sandy beach at Pendine and 15 miles to Saundersfoot or Tenby.

This large detached holiday farmhouse is situated on a smallholding at the end of a long lane in the heart of the Carmarthen countryside enjoying a delightful off the beaten track feel. Laugharne is 2 miles away, an historic township boasting numerous restaurants and pubs and the famous watering hole of renowned poet Dylan Thomas. This year marks the centenary of his birth and there are many events planned throughout the year so come and join the fun! The 7 mile stretch of Pendine Sands is also only 5 miles away where you and your family can enjoy the large expanse of beautiful beach.

The owners have an unusual menagerie including Alpacas, numerous owls, Harris hawks, goats, ducks, peacocks, and lots of other small animals wandering freely for you to enjoy.

Entrance is into the boot room/lobby with freezer and space for coats and wellies.

There is a downstairs bathroom with electric shower over bath, WC and hand basin.

Through to the large open plan kitchen and dining room with a travertine floor and patio doors leading to the decking and hot tub room. The kitchen is spacious and has an extensive range of units as well as an island.  There are 2 ovens, gas hob with 5 burners, microwave, 2 fridges, dishwasher and a washing machine.

The dining area has a dining table with 6 leather chairs and a sideboard.

Glazed doors lead to the sitting room which has a pebble electric fire, solid oak flooring, 3 very large and comfortable sofas (one of which converts to a double bed for occasional use), footstool, 50" TV with DVD and freeview (sky basic package) and a nest of tables.

On the first floor are 3 attractive and spacious bedrooms: the master bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables, dressing table and a walk in wardrobe.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed, bedside tables, dressing table and wardrobe.

Bedroom 3 has twin beds, bedside tables, dressing table and wardrobe.

The family bathroom has a suite of corner bath with hand held shower, WC and hand basin.

The owners have 18 acres of land over which you are welcome to wander.

There are lots of unusual animals and birds to enjoy as previously mentioned.

Shared children's play area with swings slides and trampolines.

There is a small enclosed area to the rear of the house with a lawned area and decking with garden furniture.

HOT TUB

A Summerhouse to the side of the garden houses a 6 seater hot tub and cane furniture for relaxing.

There is parking space for 4 cars.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival.

Electricity and heating included.

Bed linen provided; towels available @ £3 per person per week.
