    About this property

A spacious, airy and comfortable property, this typical Welsh cottage has three large bedrooms and is able to accommodate up to six people in elegant and luxurious surroundings.

Three bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double, 2 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin & WC. Ground floor WC. Fitted kitchen. Utility room. Dining room with multi-fuel burner. Sitting room with sliding door to south-facing garden & patio.

Set in the heart of the pretty seaside village of Llansteffan, this elegant and spacious semi-detached house provides a warm welcome all year round. A log-burner warms the entire house in winter while a tranquil garden that's a real sun-trap offers guests a perfect location for a spot of summer al fresco dining. With three bedrooms and all modern conveniences, this comfortable property provides a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside, the nearby beach (just a short walk from the property) and the wealth of attractions in the region. Only minutes from the local shop and pub, this house has all the charm of a typical Welsh cottage.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Llansteffan is a lovely seaside village with its own castle ruins, a post office, general store and two pubs specialising in serving local food. This tranquil setting is only a short journey from the county town of Camarthen, which offers visitors a wide range of facilities including numerous shops and boutiques, restaurants, pubs and a thriving daily market. This spectacular part of Wales has always drawn the crowds but there are enough isolated sandy coves and beaches to give everyone the chance to find some peace and quiet. If you're more of an adrenaline junky, the noise and excitement of Pembrey motor racing track is only a short drive away whilst culture-vultures can visit Dylan Thomas' Boat House at Laugharne or the plentiful castles, mills and craft centres in the region. Llansteffan offers a perfect base for a wide range of holidays and is a marvellous introduction to this glorious part of Wales.

    Mr John Hailstone, Wallingford, Oxfordshire
"House was comfortable with plenty of space. We all enjoyed our time there and did plenty of cooking!"
    Mrs Claire Laurent, Woking, Surrey
"A lovely house only 2 minutes walk from the beach, shop, and pub. The house was a really good size and the beds were really comfy! The proprietor was very friendly, showing us round and advising us of local attractions. There was a good range of appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, freezer etc) and a TV and DVD machine, as well as nice array of board games! The beach and castle were beautiful and a short drive took us to Pembrey and Pendine beaches, as well as Camarthan town centre. We had a great time, and would not hesitate to hire this cottage again."
Mr John Harper, Bow Street, Sir Ceredigion
"Good accommodation in a good location. Cottage is good value with all we needed for an enjoyable stay. "
Mrs Murphy, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan

"The cottages was very close to the beach. Llansteffan is a very nice small village with a good tearoom and good fish and chips from Florries. There were also nice walks around the village. And it did not take long to be in Carmarthen for shopping among other things. We had a great time there!"
    Mrs Bird, Stamford, Lincolnshire
