The second floor sitting room is spacious and light with a pleasant outlook out over the town towards the distant mountain peaks of Snowdonia. There is comfy seating for everyone to relax and unwind after a busy day, and a warming electric fire for chillier evenings. The main bedroom is spacious and benefits from a king-size bed, while the second bedroom is ideal for another couple but with the single bunk bed above it also makes it a great room for children. With the beach, harbour and town just a short walk away, this property makes a perfect place to stay. All the amenities of this historic seaside port are on the doorstep - visit the craft and souvenir shops, excellent restaurants, tea rooms and inns, stroll along the coast to the famous Black Rock Sands beach, or to visit the pretty village of Borth-y-Gest. Nearby attractions include the world-famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam train, only a five-minute walk from the apartment, so all aboard to travel 13.5 miles through some of the most dramatic scenery the area has to offer. Visit Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which is now also the home of Zip World Titan, the longest four-man zip wire in Europe, as well as Bounce Below, an underground trampoline, and Antur Stiniog Mountain Bike centre with its various downhill trails. The Italianate village of Portmeirion is also only two miles away. This delightful apartment is an ideal retreat to be enjoyed all year round.

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog offers individual shops and restaurants, and is home to the Ffestiniog Railway. The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town and the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast.
