About this property

A single-storey cottage adjoining the owner’s home, centrally located in an elevated position, on the outskirts of the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy in North Wales. The cottage has fantastic views over the village, extending across open pasture land towards the coastline and the sea, and will suit families and couples who wish to explore this lovely area. The comfortable accommodation is all ground floor, having a lovely cosy sitting room with two sofas to sink into and relax after a long day of activity, and on those warm summer evenings open up the patio doors to enjoy the fresh sea air. The kitchen is well-equipped with a light and bright dining area with table, chairs and an additional sofa, an ideal place to sit and enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take in the views from the picture window or enjoy some quiet time with a good book. The two bedrooms are delightful with the main room having a super king-size bed. To the front of the cottage is a patio with table and chairs so you can look out to sea whilst enjoying alfresco dining in this wonderful area of Snowdonia, or enjoy a morning coffee whilst relaxing in the large lawned garden. Bryn Coch Bach is ideally situated with a fantastic pub and restaurant within easy reach and just a short drive away you will find golden beaches and sand dunes that stretch for miles along this stunning coastline. The cottage is well-positioned for you to walk on the Welsh Coastal Path and the Ardudwy and Mawddach Trails. Bryn Coch Bach is also on Route 8 (Lon Las) of the National Cycle Route and a request stop on the Cambrian Coast Railway Line, plus Llanbedr Airfield is just three miles away and is open for civilian flights. A short drive away, explore Harlech with its majestic 13th century castle, now a World Heritage Site, or enjoy a round or two at Royal St. David's golf course. Barmouth is only five miles away, with its quaint shops, quayside restaurants and Blue Flag beach making a great day out for everyone. A little further afield are the full delights of the Snowdonia National Park, with picturesque walks, lakes and waterfalls for hikers to enjoy. This cottage offers the perfect location for a wonderful break all year round.

The pleasant village of Dyffryn Ardudwy quietly nestles between The Rhinogs, part of the Snowdonia Mountains, and the stunning golden beaches of the North Wales coastline. Boasting its own mild climate due to its unusual positioning, and an exciting array of wildlife and birds including soaring buzzards, this charming village provides good local shops and a good pub.

Owners are so lovely. This was our second stay at Bryn Coch Bach... and likely won't be our last.

Alma and David gave us a lovely welcome made us feel home from home. Wonderful location for touring Mid Wales. We like it so much that we have already booked for next year.

Set in beautiful landscape gardens. We had the hottest week on record, end to end sunshine, lovely quite garden to relax in, sunsets were amazing. The beds, you didn't want to get out of because you'd had a good nights sleep. A well stocked kitchen, with everything you could possibly need from cutlery to tea bag squeezer. A nice bottle of wine, and sweet cakes were left for us along with the much needed pint of milk. for that first cup of tea. Alma and David were there if you needed them, other than watering the plants and cutting the lawn, you wouldn't know they were there. Thank you for a much needed break
