We were delighted with Ty Newydd, the cottage we stayed at in Dolgellau. The cottage was well decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. We very much appreciated that some basic essentials were already there waiting for us and the extra little touches like fresh flowers and freshly made Welsh cakes made it feel really special! This was our first family trip to North Wales and we found Dolgellau to be a great base for some wonderful days out walking, cycling at the beach and visiting historic castles.
