This detached cottage is the lodge at the entrance to the driveway of a quiet 5* country house hotel (see G542), on the A487 2.5 miles south of Caernarfon. The cottage has some lovely original features, period furniture, internal steps between rooms and beamed ceilings etc.
Two bedrooms (super king and a twin, which can be made up as a super king), bath/shower room plus ground floor cloakroom with WC. Fitted kitchen with quarry tiled floor, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and utility with washing machine & tumble dryer. Dining room and sitting room with open fire. FreeSat TV, DVD, Wi-Fi, mini hi-fi and MP3 player.
To the front is a small lawn and at the side is a decked patio overlooking fields. It's half a mile to the village shop and pub and this is an excellent base for touring Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula, with Caernarfon Castle 2.5 miles away and Dinas Dinlle beach 5 miles. Llanberis for Snowdon Mountain Railway and Electric Mountain 9 miles.
