The village of Llan Ffestiniog is situated near the centre of Snowdonia National Park. Three miles away is Blaenau Ffestiniog, which offers shops and pubs, plus there are many attractions close by,including Llechwedd Slate Cavern, the Ffestiniog Railway, as well as walking, cycling, sandy beaches and fishing.

The cottage is very well equipped , I personally found the bed in larger bedroom was to firm for me so moved into smaller front bedroom. Had good nights sleep. The facilities all as described. Good size secured back garden Somy little dog had plenty of room to charge about. Lots of throws to cover furniture with but I had taken my own . The water always hot lots of large towels provided but again I had taken my own. I can recommend the Oakley pub about 10 mins drive from cottage and also just at bottom of back garden the Peng wan Arms. I would definitely return to this lovelyplace

Everything you needed, no short cuts. Porthmadog only 20 minutes drive, well worth a visit. The local village had a small shop, pub just up the road, result. Parking across the road, so no hassle when you return from a long day out. My girl (dog) enjoyed galloping round the garden. Defiantly a return visit due.

Great views of the mountains from the lounge, great location for mountains, woodlands and coast. Large secure back garden ideal for my dog. Good close parking. Cottage nice and warm and cosy. Modern and practical would have benefited from a few small additions, i.e. toilet paper, soap, bin liners. Would return again, friendly locals.
