About this property

This stylish first floor apartment is in an enviable location, just 200 yards from the coast and enjoying delightful sea views, 0.5 miles from the main beach and village amenities of Trearddur Bay, on the ever popular Isle of Anglesey. As soon as you enter from the small communal hallway you will appreciate the coastal styling, driftwood flooring and attention to detail the owners have put into making this property welcoming and homely. The living space is bright and airy, with an open plan dining area creating a lovely social area to sit and relax over coffee and the morning papers whilst planning the day’s entertainment. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with solid beech block worktop and breakfast bar to sit and keep the chef entertained as they prepare tasty home cooked meals, whilst the sitting room offers a fantastic relaxation area, enjoying a full height picture window with views across to the sea. A full wall mural of Llandwyn Island in Newborough covers one of the walls, with a further one of South Stack Lighthouse in the master bedroom, emphasising the superb location of this property. The three bedrooms continue the same seaside theme with the king-size bedroom enjoying further coastal views, a double and family bedroom with an adult bunk bed and a single bed, providing flexibility for all party sizes. The shared lawns offer plenty of sunbathing areas and there is fantastic walking and cycling from the doorstep. With easy access to hidden coves and beaches and the main Blue Flag beach at Trearddur just 10 minutes’ walk allowing safe bathing and watersports, along with all the village amenities and pubs and restaurants you would expect from this popular seaside resort there is something for everyone. A delightful coastal cottage for you and your family, which you will want to come back to time and time again.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!

The location was ideal and within easy access to the local pub for evening meals but also within walking distance of the main Treaddur Bay area for all facilities. Love this particular area because of access to all the small coves and beaches. Would recommend this property. Thanking you again.

Only other problem would be there is no ironing board or iron. We probably won't stay again as we are in our 70's abd we find the stairs a bit too much but views are lovely.

We absolutely love it. The bay is such a beautiful place and just 10 min walk from the fabulous sea shanty cafe! Thank you for the wine much appreciated! Looking forward to next year
