Snaptrip says

Minerva cottage in Holyhead, Anglesey, is a well-loved holiday rental with stunning views and a cosy atmosphere. Guests have praised its spaciousness, beautiful location, and the addition of a hot tub. The property is ideal for large groups and families, offering a games room and proximity to the beach. While some guests mentioned minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness scores are mixed, with several guests finding the property to be clean and well-maintained, while others reported issues with dust, dirty dishes, and bathrooms. The presence of both positive and negative feedback suggests that cleanliness levels may vary, leading to a slightly above average score.

The location of Minerva is consistently praised for its stunning views, peacefulness, and proximity to beaches and amenities. Guests have highlighted the ease of access to local attractions and the natural beauty surrounding the property, contributing to a high score in this category.

Comfort receives a good score as many guests found the beds comfortable and the property spacious. However, some guests mentioned that certain mattresses were too soft or uncomfortable, and issues with a conservatory door and a camp bed suggest room for improvement.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the hot tub being a highlight. The property is equipped with a games room and offers ample entertainment options. Some guests, however, reported maintenance issues such as leaks, a non-working dishwasher, and a small barbecue, leading to a good but not excellent score.

Guests have appreciated thoughtful touches like a welcome card, biscuits, and a bottle of prosecco. However, as these gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed for every stay, the score reflects the positive reception of such gestures without setting an expectation for future guests.

It was exactly what we were looking for in a home for our large family to live and relax, during our stay in beautiful Anglesey. It's a fantastic property with plenty of living space. It has great balcony for enjoying a morning coffee with beautiful coastal views or evening cocktails watching a gorgeous sunset. We made good use of the fully utilised kitchen and dining area. The adults thoroughly enjoyed the amazing hottub situated in the front garden area. The children loved the fully stocked games room, playing the games console or playing on the childrens snooker table aswell as reading books or playing with legos. This home is just perfect for a large group to feel together as a family or large enough for everyone to have space to relax apart, Just perfect.
