About this property

Charter Cottage is a great holiday cottage that is located in the picturesque fishing village of Moelfre on Anglesey. Offering amazing views from the sitting room, the master bedroom and the patio area, it’s in a delightful location. The open fire means you will be cosy in this holiday cottage year-round. A shop for your necessities and places to eat are within walking distance.

The sitting room offers plenty of space and the bay window allows the light flood in. Comfortable sofas are set around an open fireplace as there’s a TV and DVD player, books and games. Ideal for quiet winter afternoons or evenings in.

There is access to a dining area via a stable door in the sitting room. In here is a table and chairs as well as an open plan kitchen. There’s an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer and microwave.

The master bedroom is a double with brilliant views. There is another double bedroom to the back of the cottage and a twin room which has lovely views, too.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

Outside is a patio area with table, chairs, a parasol and a barbecue. This is the ideal place for an al fresco supper in the sunshine! There is a private parking bay and at the top of the drive there is public parking for a second car.

Moelfre has access to the coastal footpath an easy walk will take you into the village to buy your provisions, sample a beer in the pub or have a tasty bite to eat in Ann’s Pantry. The Lifeboat Station is also worth a visit! This coastline of Anglesey has so many fabulous sandy beaches, attractions and activities on offer. You’ll be spoilt for choice of where to go and what to see.

Situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach, fine views of Snowdonia, a working lifeboat, and two quality pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby, at Benllech and Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife. A perfect location for travelling around this lovely island and throughout beautiful Snowdonia.
