About this property

Ty Felin is a holiday cottage that sits in a peaceful setting just above the village of Llangoed on Anglesey. Nestled at the end of a rural farm lane, you’re sure tol see sheep and cows grazing in the surrounding countryside. In this spot you can experience the quiet, no light pollution which means the sky is always littered with stars and stunning panoramic views. Ty Felin is sure to be a happy home from home holiday cottage for your family holiday in North Wales.

There are two sitting rooms - one with a comfy sofa and log burner for colder evenings and the second with an antique, decorative cast iron fireplace and eclectic furnishings.

The well-equipped kitchen has a Rayburn and a cooker with 4 ceramic plates, grill and a fan oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave.

The dining room also has a Rayburn heater and two sets of French windows meaning it’s a multi-season room; warm in the winter, and almost offering an al fresco dining experience in the summer.

On the ground floor is a single bedroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both boasting countryside views.

The bedrooms share a family bathroom with an electric shower, bath, loo and basin.

Ty Felin is surrounded by picturesque meadowland, and the patio area provides a suntrap for soaking up the peaceful surroundings with your morning cuppa.

At the top of the drive there are wonderful sea views towards Puffin Island, Red Wharf Bay, the Great Orme in Llandudno and the Snowdonia mountain range. This holiday cottage has its own path down to White Beach and it lies on the Anglesey Coastal Path. There is so much to see do and experience nearby that you’ll be spoilt for choice!

If there are more than 5 in your party you can also rent Three Gates which is a holiday cottage next door which sleeps three.

The village of Llangoed is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the beautiful east corner of the Isle of Anglesey, offering a shop and Post Office. Nearby is the fascinating and attractive town of Beaumaris, boasting a 13th century castle, Georgian and early Victorian houses and shops, a number of excellent tea rooms, restaurants and stylish shops, and a delicatessen. Visit the town’s old courthouse and Victorian gaol, or the pier where you can fish for crabs or catch a boat to see the birds on Puffin Island. From the pier and promenade there are spectacular views across the Menai Straits and Snowdonia. Nearby Penmon Priory, founded in the 6th Century by Saint Seiriol and with its Holy Well and Dovecote, is just a short walk away on the coastal footpath.

Large garden with plenty of room for our dog to run around. With being up through 3 farm gates the cottage was so peaceful n quite no cars going past. Owner was very helpful and really pleasant. Would definitely recommend. Karen

Could do with some updated garden furniture and a BBQ would have been great but otherwise a lovely stay

Nice dog friendly property, but beware that some of the spring lambs managed to get through the third gate into the gardens, so suggest the farmer look at maintaining the gate. Lovely cottage in quiet location, my little Mazda 2 managed the track fine, some of the nettles in the middle of the tracks could be mowed down to make travel easier.
