Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews indicate that the cottage is generally clean, with clean bedding and towels noted. However, some guests have pointed out areas that require more thorough cleaning, such as behind headboards and kitchen cupboards, as well as the presence of cobwebs.

The location is frequently praised for its quietness, beautiful views, and proximity to wildlife, including regular sightings of red squirrels. It is also considered central for country walks and access to local amenities, although one review mentioned it being a bit remote.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a warm and homely atmosphere. The conservatory and outside deck are particularly appreciated. Some concerns were raised about a steep step leading to the bathroom and the comfort of some beds.

The cottage is well-equipped and full of character, with a quirky ambiance. However, guests have suggested improvements such as additional kitchen sockets, better Wi-Fi, and some refurbishment. The eclectic decor and the conservatory are highlights.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is highly commended, with several mentions of welcoming gestures such as flowers and chocolates. It is important to note that while these gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Soft furnishings comfortable with lovely throws. Would definitely visit again. Only constructive feed back is maybe owner could arrange better Internet as cottage is a little remote from any nearby Internet hubs cafe ect and maybe buy a few bed toppers for down stairs beds as they were a little uncomfortable to sleep on long term. Other than that the stay at crows nest was fabulous

We had a power cut which was island wide but no candles or torches were provided in an emergency situation. Cottage was charming and spacious but no Usable Wi Fi despite having been told that it was available.

A lot of effort has gone into restoring the property and enhancing it. Hats off to Adrian & Linda. We had a lovely stay and apart from a warm greeting and goodbye were left to ourselves which is how we like it. Great spot to explore the Island and will definitely go back sometime.
