About this property

A delightful, semi-detached bungalow, located on the coastal side of Benllech on the Isle of Anglesey. Offering high quality accommodation in stylish and contemporary rooms, this is a superb seaside cottage to enjoy all year round. A spacious hallway opens into the welcoming sitting room with a decorative woodburner, furnished with attention to detail and inviting you to settle into the comfy sofas and relax. The kitchen continues to reflect the quality of the cottage, with oak block worktops, modern units and integrated appliances, linking into the dining area, which looks out through patio doors to the enclosed rear garden. The master double bedroom, along with the kitchen, benefits from sea glimpses, whilst the front king-size double room has been given a nautical theme, or unzip the beds to make a great 2' 6'' twin room if required. Relax in the lovely garden with a refreshing drink whilst planning your next day’s activities. It is just 5 minutes’ walk to the golden, sandy beach, and a similar distance to the pubs and shops of the town. Golfers of all standards will enjoy the various local courses, and the Anglesey Coastal Path is a welcome opportunity for everyone to explore the fantastic clifftop paths, sandy beaches and hidden coves that scatter the coastline towards Moelfre and Red Wharf Bay. This is a quality property, offering a lovely holiday base for families or couples to enjoy.

Benllech has a beautiful, long and sandy beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all. A variety of shops and cafés front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the village centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. The setting promises to suit every taste, with the village itself ideal for family holidays, whilst the rural setting offers peace and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey and of course the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.

Stay was cut short by being unable to settle on the seating provided. Namely the two settees both of which we found to be extremely low and with no head support. We are both now in our late sixties and appreciate comfort on our stay.. The steep path at the front was another negative for those of a certain age or with mobility issues maybe worth a mention.. Finally the lack of control with the heating ..having to ask like Oliver twist for the gas heating to be turned on as the battery on the wall was nearly flat. Other aspects couldn't be faulted but we decided to ut our stay short by three days because of the above and to be honest felt like there was a gun to our head regarding the 100 pound bond on the property in case we broke anything etc

It's in a quiet area and only a 5 minute walk down to the beautiful Benllech beach. Food shops and take aways within a short distance and a great pub for meals at the top of the hill. Would certainly recommend.
