"We picked this cottage because of the hot tub, but unfortunately it wasn't working, and we weren't told this in advance of our arrival. We were all so so disappointed. I don't believe this was ' fault, and they were helpful in dealing with the situation. The cottage was otherwise very nice, and in an ideal location close to the centre of Beaumaris. One thing which would be very useful, is a list of things that visitors should bring which aren't provided, eg dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, bin liners, more than one tea towel etc etc, so that guests can come prepared."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Olinda Cottages, we were a party of three couples and so the three 'en-suite' rooms were perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and we made most meals ourselves and ate outside in the lovely courtyard area for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we stayed home much more than we expected, the sunny weather made us lazy, which of course was just what we wanted on our break from city living. We were ideally located to walk along the shoreline everyday morning and evening and ..."

"We had a lovely time at 2 Olinda Cottages and would stay again in the future. The proximity to everything Beaumaris and the local area had to offer was second to none; amenities, visitor attractions, walks and views. The sense of quiet, secluded, secure space and comfort was also invaluable despite its' central location. The cottages were beautifully presented. Of course the hot tub was well received with such awe inspiring views of distant snow capped mountains in the distance above the beautiful tops of cottages, houses and the castle. Great historic place, highly recommended. The family loved it."

"Perfect location within a very easy walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach but tooked away and very quiet. The hot tub was amazing and has a wooden canopy so great for all weathers. The annex is not connected to the house and although not a problem for our party could be if a family with 2 adults and children wanted to book. The cottage has a dishwasher, lovely surprise as not listed and also 2 fridges and a full freezer. I can not fault the cottage one of the best we have stayed in. Anglesey is a beautiful place and well worth a visit and this cottage is the perfect place to stay. One small point, there are no tea towels or dish clothes you need to take your own. We also left some plastic glasses we bought to use in the hot tub so hopefully they will still be there for future use. Will be booking again in the future."

"Anglesey is beautiful, having such lovely accommodation increased our enjoyment of our holiday."

" failed to reply to emails and phone messages regarding a problem with previous holidaymakers leaving the bins overflowing. This caused smells and rubbish issues that detracted from our enjoyment of this cottage. There were many other small issues with the cottage in addition to the bins. All just suggest a lack of attention in the past year. E.g. shower screen in family bathroom was missing, lots of well established weeds in garden area, info folder 1-2years out of date with all leaflets, wet room in annex drains so slow the room floods after every shower. This is a shame because the cottage is otherwise we'll equipped to a high standard and in a great location for easy quick access to beach, shops and castle, while remaining quiet and private. Overall we had a good week in Beaumaris, but we think the premium price paid for this property should demand higher standards in general maintenance."
