Taigh Rona is a well-appointed cottage with stunning views and a modern, efficient heating system. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, soft towels, and well-equipped kitchen. The spacious layout is perfect for family gatherings, and the property's design allows for immersion in the beautiful Luskentyre landscape. Some guests suggested minor improvements, but these do not detract from the overall exceptional experience.

Guests that stayed at this property said

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score.

The location is consistently praised for its spectacular views and the ever-changing Luskentyre landscape, making it a standout feature of the property.

Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the efficient heating system and comfortable beds. However, some noted the lack of cosy touches like a wood burner and secondary lighting.

The property is well-equipped, but guests have suggested additional amenities such as a drying room for outdoor gear, blinds for sunnier days, and a larger fridge. The lack of a wood burner and towel drying facilities were noted.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of unexpected basics and a welcome gift of fizz, although it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

EPC Rating: Band B

Built around an inlet on Loch Fyne, Tarbert has long been both a harbour and a key strategic point in the history of Scotland's rugged West Coast. Tarbert once required three castles to protect it, and the ruins of one of these can still be visited today. Built around the natural harbour, fishing and sailing continue to play an important part in the life of the village. There are many annual events to interest all tastes including the sailing regatta on Loch Fyne, seafood and music festivals. The 87 mile Kintyre Way stretches from Tarbert to the south of the Kintyre Peninsula, and offers walking for all levels and with ferry connections to Islay and Arran, there is simply no better location to relax and explore this rugged and picturesque part of Scotland.

It had everything we required for our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed being there. The only little criticism was the high temperature of the home, it was well in to the 20's on our arrival which would have been very welcoming on a cold day, it's such a well insulated dwelling obviously as its so new maybe it could be turned down a few degrees. Other than that it was spot on, thank you very much.

We stayed with two young children (9mnths and 4 years). From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views that seemed straight out of a postcard. The property was perched overlooking the coast, offering panoramic vistas of lush landscapes and sparkling waters. The accommodation was nothing short of exceptional, with every detail meticulously curated for comfort and style. From the plush furnishings to the state-of-the-art amenities, no expense was spared in ensuring a truly indulgent experience. Our only point of feedback would be to provide larger bath towels / sheets. But it was the views that truly stole the show. Would def come back.
