Snaptrip says

Savita Cottage is generally appreciated for its cleanliness, comfortable setting, and peaceful location. Guests enjoy the on-site swimming pool and the helpful staff. Some minor maintenance issues and a need for better information on amenities were noted, but the overall experience is positive, with many guests having a pleasant stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage clean, with a few noting it could benefit from deeper cleaning, particularly the carpets. The cleanliness of the veranda furniture upon arrival was also mentioned.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and quiet, with beautiful surroundings. Its remoteness is appreciated, though it is noted that having a car is beneficial due to the lack of on-site amenities like a shop or restaurant.

The cottage is considered comfortable and homely by many guests. However, some guests mentioned that the furniture could be updated and that there were issues with hot water availability for larger groups.

Facilities like the swimming pool are well-received, but there are several comments about maintenance issues such as squeaky doors, a problematic water meter, and a lack of clarity on how to use the heating system. The closure of the leisure complex due to the pandemic was also a point of disappointment.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, this score cannot be accurately determined.

Not even salt and pepper in the pots for them. Apart from that there was very little parking and the staff were grumpy about us needing to park briefly one morning to load up car 2.

We took our parents here as this was their Christmas present. They are both in their 80s and had a fab time. Lovely wee lounge at reception to have a coffe or glass of wine staff were lovely and very helpful

Otherwise just a couple of small things - I must bring a knife sharpener next time, and I can't use a frying pan that is not non-stick. Very peaceful location. We enjoyed ourselves.
