"Stayed here for a long weekend and we loved it, very spacious cottage with everything in that you needed, also pub across the road with nice food, our only criticism was to have a larger tv in the lounge, but would definitely return."

"We had a fab few days at S23486, great base to explore from. Just a shame the local pub didn’t do food! Would definitely recommend the cottage."
    WHIFFEN ‐ 23 Jun 2018
"A lovely cottage in a very friendly village, a brilliant village shop. Great pubs in a twenty minute radius for lovely local food. The village is situated perfectly with lots of places to visit, even Glasgow only just over an hour away. Brilliant beaches for dog owners, no restrictions on visits to beaches with your pet. Everyone we met was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Highlight visits were the Falkirk Wheel, the Kelpies, Dumfries House ( book online to visit inside the house it gets very busy), Dunure Harbour, Dalgarven Mill Museum, Culzean Castle the list goes on. A lovely two weeks, Philippa a brilliant owner of the property."

"A lovely cottage in a good location .Plenty of walks lovely countryside and visitor attractions like Dumfries House.Hope to visit again."
    Michael ‐ 9 May 2018
"Great for walks, incredibly quiet, rarely came across anyone else. Practically no traffic at all. The entire street catches the sun very nicely as do parts of the cottage. Great walks, a lot to see, unfortunately a good chunk of the country has been through deforestation so there was a few areas that felt desolate, but the majority was interesting walks through the woods and over hills. Probably one of the most diverse holidays I've had due to it being a shortish drive to the Culzean Castle and other neighbouring areas."

"We had a brilliant time at S23486 cottage Daisy loved the garden and the cottage as we both did too. Will definitely be back thanks so much to the owners who provide eveything you need."
    MARTIN ‐ 14 Mar 2018
"We stayed at S23486 cottage for a weekend in February. It was great. We loved the cottage, it was cosy with the open fires. We lovely the area with great walks and friendly people. Good to have a wee coffee shop next door, and the wee shop a few doors down which sold all your everyday essentials. Last but not least the pub straight across the road with good food. What more can you wish for?"
