Forres 2 miles. A vintage detached cottage near the town of Forres in Moray, Scotland. A group of friends or a family would find this the perfect place to come and enjoy a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location, with wonderful views across Findhorn Bay and the Moray Firth. A drive through the gates and up the gravel driveway takes you into Pindlers Croft, with ample parking for up to 5 cars. You are immediately welcomed with a seated lobby area with a fantastic feature stone wall with a woodburning stove. This area leads you towards the very spacious, homely sitting area complete with charming artwork to make you feel right at home. The floor-to-ceiling windows light up the room and provide fantastic elevated views over Findhorn Bay, Moray Firth and across to the Black Isle. The ground floor also comes with a spacious dining room with patio doors, making the most of the views. The dining room leads towards the traditional kitchen with red tiled flooring, a majestic Welsh dresser and ample wooden fixtures and fittings. Fantastic views being seen across the entire ground floor. The kitchen leads to a utility room, where you can clean off the dogs and take off your boots after a long day out walking. Downstairs there are two large bedrooms, again with fantastic views. Both are bright, well-presented with en-suite bathrooms. Upstairs is a third bedroom under a sloping ceiling, boasting velux windows and a pleasant super king size bed with an en-suite shower room. On the landing there are two chairs and a TV where the children can chill out. On the sunny days, why not enjoy a barbecue and sit out on the spacious patio with a cold drink whilst taking in the breathtaking, far reaching views as the children play in the mature and well maintained enclosed garden. The town of Forres is not far away, a bustling place with a great range of amenities and activities including some fantastic fishing and golfing opportunities. Nearby there are some fantastic places to go, with Nairn, Elgin and Findhorn being within driving distance and offering something to do for everybody from museums to beaches. A five minute drive from Forres past Pindlers will take you to Califer Hill Viewpoint, providing stunning views across the Moray Firth, Findhorn and beyond. Pindlers Croft is a wonderfully located property offering a number of outdoor pursuits nearby, from boat trips, seal spotting, coastal walks along the Firth to dolphin watching or cycling. Forres is a starting point for exploring the Malt Whisky Trail, home to two of the Distilleries, and in close proximity to another 5! Placed for visiting the fishing villages dotted along the north east coastline and just 27 miles from Inverness, it is a great base. Forres boasts golf courses and fishing opportunities. A five minute drive from Forres will take you to Califer Hill Viewpoint, providing stunning views across the Moray Firth, Findhorn and beyond.
