The village of Broadford is within easy walking distance so leave your car at home and visit Skye's very own Serpentarium and get up close to the snakes, if you dare. If you would like a beautiful sandy beach then visit Ashaig very close by to this Isle of Skye cottage, and you will more than likely have it all to yourself. Breakish is an excellent base for touring the Isle of Skye and whether you go south or north there is so much to see and do. After a day out and about you will be happy to return to your wee Skye cottage and just relax.

Broadford is Skye's second largest village set in the shadow of the Red Cuillins and spreads itself along the southern side of Broadford Bay. The village caters well for the tourists with shops, hotels and colourful craft stalls.
