Staffin 1.6 miles.A charming detached stone cottage, well located in the township of Glasphein, in the friendly crofting community of Staffin, on the magical Isle of Skye. This cosy Skye cottage occupies a fabulous hillside location with far-reaching sea views, and is ideal for a family or group of friends who really want a taste of village life and will appreciate the peace and tranquillity of the area. There are three bedrooms in this Skye cottage, all with traditional sloping ceilings and sea views. On the ground floor of your cottage on Skye there is a neat kitchen diner, and a cosy sitting room with welcoming open fire. Outside this Skye cottage there is a pretty sloping garden, and a gravel patio area with furniture which is a wonderful place to simply sit, gaze out to sea and enjoy the fabulous views across to the mountains of the Scottish mainland. The village of Staffin is a friendly place and locals will not pass you without a friendly smile or wave. There are two shops in the village, plus a community centre and cafe providing good home baking and early evening meals. Staffin is proud of its sandy beach bordered by soaring cliffs that are home to many species of birds; you may even be lucky enough to spot a sea eagle or two! The capital of the island, Portree, is 17 miles to the south and offers excellent shopping and dining out possibilities, and the whole island is a wonderful place to explore by car or on foot. When all this is done, you will love to relax around the fire of your cosy Skye cottage at the end of a busy day.

Staffin is situated in North Skye, and overlooks Staffin Bay and Staffin Island.
