Head across the way into the colourful wet room and hose yourself down in the spacious walk-in shower, before grabbing a hot towel from the heated towel rail and drying yourself off. Feeling refreshed, change into your comfiest clothing in the ground-floor twin bedroom and retire to the snug for some light reading as you warm yourself by the woodburning stove. As the sun begins to set, move into the extensive open-plan living space and gather ingredients from the fridge in the fully-fitted contemporary kitchen, as you put together a delicious evening meal for the whole family to enjoy at the dinner table. With bellies full of scrumptious food, make yourself comfortable on the sofas and spend some time relaxing with friends as you catch up on the good old times or plan the next day's exploration of the woodland trails. When you feel yourself slipping into a sleepy state, pick yourself up and climb the winding staircase up to the stylish king-size bedroom or delightfully decorated twin bedroom located on the first floor. If travelling as a larger group, you will find an additional sofa bed located in the snug of the home. As you wake the next morning feeling fully rested, get ready for the day in style with a soak in the bathtub. Grab a breath of fresh air as you indulge in some breakfast outdoors during the summer months. When ready to part with this stunning cottage, be sure to be wearing your best walking gear as Nethy Bridge is home to some of the most enchanting walks. Home to the BBC's Winter Watch, attracting over 2 million viewers nationwide, a visit to Craigmore can also reward you with spotting the Scottish Big 5 (pine marten, red squirrel, red deer, Scottish wildcat and capercaillie) without even leaving the front room, as the cottage leads directly to the stunning pine woods, the natural habitat and national hotspot for these iconic beauties. With miles of cycling and walking trails right at your doorstep, you can also spend the morning strolling alongside RSPB Loch Garten as you try to spot as many beautiful birds as possible. Enjoy archery, abseiling and rafting at Craggan Outdoors or hop on the Strathspey Railway for spectacular views of the Cairngorm Mountains. Nethy Bridge is a charming and delightful village set in the Highland area of Strathspey, Scotland. With a fully-stocked convenience store and a number of pubs and bars in the surrounding villages, Nethy Bridge has everything you could ever need during your stay. Nearby activity centers offer a multitude of sports and adventures to fill up your day, whilst walkers will take pleasure in one of the many walks available through Cairngorms National Park. Venture into the town of Aviemore where you can board Strathspey Steam Railway for excellent views of the Scottish Highlands.
